A PRESENT RAY OF TRUTH

And (add) to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness Agape (a love feast). For if these things be in you and abound… ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the full experiential knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble: And an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know, and be established in the present truth. (2Peter 1:7-12)

Our eyes have yet to see and comprehend the total span of the spiritual land that has been made available and accessible to us in and by the Spirit of God. Our inheritance in Christ is super-abundant, full of God’s riches and yet has been vastly understated by those holding to forms of godliness; denying God’s power to utterly transform our entire being. These forms of Godliness, void of transformative power have effectively undermined this truth; that we have been called to the obtaining of the glory of God. (Rom 9:23, Eph 1:18, Eph 3:16). We must begin to look beyond juvenile ideas, beyond streets of gold and fanciful ideas of mansions that we will one day occupy and begin to realize that we are the mansions or the rooms within God’s house that He is preparing. We are being prepared to fully accommodate and steward His glory. Christ is the revealed likeness of God’s glory. The glory that God has called us to inherit is Christ; all of Christ. What else could possibly matter?

Whereunto he called you…to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. -2Th 2:14

The path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day (Pro. 4:18). This “perfect day” is when God will fully illuminate or reveal His glory; the “Day-Star, The Lord Jesus Christ, will arise in our hearts and be seen upon us. (Rom 8:17, 30, 2 Thess 1:10) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. (Isa 60:2)

Arise, shine, for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. (Isa 60:1)

The light is Christ who has come and lives now within His children. The above scripture, translated from the Hebrew: “Arise, shine …The weight of God’s glory will irradiate and shoot forth beams of light, as the sun, out of you”.

Today God is shooting forth a ray out of the whole luminescence of His brilliance and Glory, guiding us into greater revelation and the unveiling of “present truth” that will cause us to apprehend and become the true witness of who He is. God is love and His love is leading us step by step into a Holy love-feast, not only with Himself but with those we are joined to in His Spirit.

Having received the down-payment of our inheritance, the firstfruits and earnest of His Spirit (Eph. 1:13-14), we know in part and prophesy in part. Our view at this time may be limited but we are straining to look beyond and to step into and taste of the yet unknown beauty of God. Today the I Am is beaming forth another ray of revelation out of His multi-faceted, multi-dimensional whole. We cannot focus exclusively on a ray of revelation from the past or even that which we are now seeing lest we lose our spiritual equilibrium and lose sight of the ultimate calling when the fullness of His glory will enrapture the totality of our being. Rather, we must add to that which has already been revealed, and firmly stand on the foundation of Christ, His apostles, prophets and the great cloud of witnesses who are walking as heirs; sons in the Spirit and led by the Holy Spirit. Above all, we must look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. God has given to us much more than we have known for He is much more than we have dreamed.

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in agape-love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the agape-love-feast of Christ, which passeth knowledge, (so) that you all might be filled with all the fulness of God. (Eph 3:17-19)
