6-9 MONTHS PRIOR TO TRIP

Make a decision to have a short term mission outreach.

Present the idea to your church or support group for their approval.

Make contact with Christ Living In You Ministries.

Complete the Mission Trip Application and return it to CLIYM.

Prayerfully select your team members.

Begin to plan Fund Raising projects.

Set up regular meetings to discuss progress.

Make all checks out to Christ Living In You Ministries: MEMO: Mission Trip Group or church member

 

3 MONTHS PRIOR TO TRIP

Team's expense money raised.

Update or order your Passport.

Make a copy of the team's Liability Forms and Mission Trip Application

The Original Copy of the Liability Forms turned in to  CLIYM

Half the trip money turned in to  CLIYM

Weekly meetings with team members

Continue to ask God to prepare hearts both on the mission field and with the team.

 

1 MONTH PRIOR TO TRIP

Begin your 30 Day Spiritual Preparation; praying daily and journaling what you have received from your daily Scripture readings. Share with Team members at your meetings.

Team members should have passports

ALL of the Liability Forms must be turned in to CLIYM

Balance paid in full.

All food materials, tools, etc should already be purchased and weighed in.

 

1 WEEK PRIOR TO TRIP

Team weighs in and final packing.

Last minute paperwork MUST be turned in.

2 bag max, 50 lbs /bag

 

PLEASE NOTE: We have set up your team’s payment schedule to help your team. We wanted to break up the payments to lighten the load. The payment dates are very important to get in, on or before, the date that it is due. If your church or organization can pay all of the trip cost on the first payment date, that would help us out tremendously.

When we get your check our local bank puts a 4 to 5-day hold on it. We must then wire it to the local missionaries in the hosting country and that can take 3 to 10 days. The local missionaries must pay deposits on the rooms and transportation. If your team is 5 or 10 days late then it places  Christ Living In You Ministries and our missionaries in a bind trying to get everything finished and in order at the last minute.
